Tian Jun, MD, PhD

Dr. Jun Tian is from China and received his Doctor of Medicine degree from He Bei Medical University in China. After graduation, he successfully completed the neurosurgery residency training in Shijiazhuang People's Hospital, Hebei Province, and devoted himself to the clinical work of neurosurgery. He developed a passion for cerebrovascular disease and craniocerebral trauma. After completing his residency training, he went on to pursue further studies in neurosurgery at Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to China Capital Medical University.

Dr. Jun Tian has extensive expertise in basic research and clinical medicine. He has a background in craniotomy as a neurosurgeon and skills in neurovascular interventional surgery. In addition, as a medical doctor, during his doctoral study, he was skilled in making animal models of cerebral hemorrhage, cerebral artery infarction, craniocerebral trauma and other diseases, and skilled in specimen sampling, protein extraction and measurement techniques. At the same time, he actively participated in various academic conferences and experimental methods courses, and accumulated a lot of knowledge for promoting basic research.

In 2024, Dr. Jun Tian joined the Savastano’s Laboratory as a visiting scholar. He is pleased to have accumulated knowledge of basic research and clinical science in the laboratory. He hopes to play a role in the accumulation and application of innovative technologies in the treatment of cerebrovascular diseases and provide help to patients with cerebrovascular diseases.
