Before joining the lab, he worked in UCSF’s Gastroenterology department and assisted with clinical studies on liver disease, with a focus on current screening practices for hepatic arteriovenous malformations in patients with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia. He has also supported specimen collection and management in the Clinical Laboratory at San Francisco General Hospital. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine with a focus on the brain and nervous system using interventional skills gained from the TNT Lab.
